This class will introduce you to myths and facts about Medicaid qualification for long term care.  When long term care in a nursing home is needed it is possible to preserve the majority of your assets and still qualify for nursing home benefits.  Spend down can be stopped.  A person with more than $2,000 in assets can qualify for Medicaid benefits.  Even if income is above the Medicaid limit a specific trust can be created to help with income qualification.
