Qigong is a mind-body practice that melds slow, graceful movements, mental focus and deep abdominal breathing to boost and balance a person’s vital energy, or qi.  Sessions will include movement, meditation, massage, relaxation and breath work.  This class is performed primarily seated and is appropriate for all ages.  This is a weekly ongoing activity, Mondays from 11:00am-2:00pm and Thursdays from 10:00am-12:30am that you pay as you go. Dietert Members receive $1 off each class.

This aqua class is a combination of stretching and strengthening the upper and lower body and trunk muscles in a warm therapy pool. A relaxing way to increase flexibility and improve strength and posture. Ideal for beginners interested in building fitness or for those with certain orthopedic problems.  NOTE: Pools are heated and regulated year round.

T'ai Chi class begins with a 15-20 minute session Qi Gong (Chi Kung) designed to focus the mind and promote relaxation by the use of imagery, deep breathing , and stretching.  The T'ai Chi Chuan Yang style long form enhances concentration and balance while strengthening the core (dantien) and legs.  Practice also increases circulation, fortifies the heart and improves eye-hand-foot coordination.
